Christian Devotional – September 24, 2013

VERSE:

Exodus 14:31–And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.

TRUTH:

The Lord had one final mighty miracle to put an exclamation point on the deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt. They crossed through the sea on dry land with a wall of water on each side, then watched as the water crashed back down and caused the chasing Egyptians to drown. Even with all they had seen up to that point, now is when it is recorded that the people put their trust in Him and in Moses. When will that point be for us? We see so many amazing things that God does around us each and every day. At what point will we truly trust Him with everything?

RESPONSE:

Father, I have seen You move and act in my life in so many ways in the past. I trust You completely and I know that You will work in every situation in my life and provide complete deliverance, all for Your glory.
