Read Zechariah chapter 4

VERSE:

Zechariah 4:6–So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.”

TRUTH:

No matter how strong and mighty we think we are, we can only accomplish the things we do each day by the power of the Spirit. What are we relying on to get us through the day and to help us be successful? As we are going, if we think that we are the ones who are creating all the successes in life, then we are missing the opportunity to see amazing results as we trust and rely on God’s Spirit to work and move in our lives.

RESPONSE:

Father, You are amazing and no matter how much I think I can do, my very best pales in comparison to what You are able to accomplish through Your Spirit. I will rest in You and will allow Your Spirit to work and move in me today so that everything I do may be a reflection of You and how You desire to work and move through me.
