Christian Devotional – September 8, 2013

VERSE:

James 3:18–Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

TRUTH:

Do we consider ourselves peacemakers? Are we not just looking for peace, but actively doing all we can to make peace wherever we are? Those people who make peace wherever they go, the Lord indicates that they will receive back a harvest of righteousness. They will receive in abundant supply all that the Lord desires to give them and others will be able to see the righteousness and peace in their lives. What are we sowing and what will we be reaping for the whole world to see?

RESPONSE:

Father, give me a heart that seeks peace and that looks for opportunities to make peace in every situation. I desire Your peace in my own life and I seek to share Your peace with everyone I meet.
