Devotional – April 24, 2011

Happy Resurrection Sunday everyone!

VERSE:
2 Corinthians 6:18–“And I will be a father to you , and you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” says the Lord Almighty.

TRUTH:
Through Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, we have been given the opportunity to be made right with God. If we accept Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf, God will accept us into a close, personal relationship with Him.

RESPONSE: 
Lord, Your triumph over death, Your payment for our sins, and Your love made a way for me to know and understand and have a real relationship with You.  Through Jesus, You are my Father and I am Your child!
