Devotional – April 26, 2012

VERSE:
1 Kings 18:39–When all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and they said, “The Lord, He is God; the Lord, He is God.”

TRUTH:
Elijah set up a demonstration that displayed the power of God to the people in a way that couldn’t be explained as anything but that God is God.The people’s response was to bow down and worship God, not Elijah. Do we trust in God to be God and do we point others to worship God?

RESPONSE:
Lord, You are indeed God. You prevailed over the false gods then and You prevail over the false gods today. Let my life point others to the truth that You are over all!
