Devotional – December 11, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 138:3–On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul.

TRUTH:
God hears us when we call. The psalmist indicates that God answers him on the same day. God makes us bold and gives us strength. This boldness and strength goes all the way to our soul. God’s strength is not a surface boldness, but it’s one that goes all through us.

RESPONSE:
Lord, You answer when I call. You don’t leave me alone. You give me strength and boldness that goes all through me. I praise You for always being there for me and for giving me what I need in every situation.
