Devotional – December 18, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 145:18–The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

TRUTH:
No matter what we are going through, if we are calling on the Lord, He is near. There are times when we are walking through difficulties that we do not feel God’s presence. However, the truth is that He is near. We can call on God and know that He is near, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

RESPONSE:
Lord, no matter what I feel while I am going through difficulties, I will trust the truth that You are near. I praise You for keeping Your promises to me.
