Devotional – January 19, 2011

VERSE:
Hebrews 5:8–Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.

TRUTH:
Jesus did suffer and go through hardships and temptations. Through it all, He proved Himself obedient. When our hard times come, do we see them as an opportunity to learn to be obedient to God through faith in Him?

RESPONSE:
Lord, help me not waste any opportunity to be obedient to You, even in my sufferings.
