Devotional – January 24, 2011

VERSE:
Hebrews 10:36–For you have need of endurance so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.

TRUTH:
We cannot do the will of God on our own, and we certainly can not do it consistently. God provides for us first by doing through Christ what we could not do on our own and second by providing the promise of redemption and eternal life.

RESPONSE:
Lord, thank You for making a way for us to endure because even when we want to do Your will, we fail. Thank You for keeping Your promises to us.
