Devotional – January 26, 2011

VERSE:
Hebrews 12:11–All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful but sorrowful, yet to those who have been trained by it afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

TRUTH:
Do we desire and allow ourselves to be trained by God’s discipline? He disciplines us so we may have the fruit of righteousness.

RESPONSE:
Lord, thank You for Your discipline. Allow me to be trained so that I may produce pleasing fruit.
