Devotional – January 28, 2011

VERSE:
Daniel 1:8b–so he sought permission from the commander that he might not defile himself.

TRUTH:
Daniel knew what was right, but instead of just starting a rebelion, he tried to work with the officials so that they understood and would be influenced by God working in his life. When we take a stand, do we do so with a heart to see others turn to God?

RESPONSE:
 Lord, help me follow You no matter what, but do it so that others understand and see You.
