Devotional – July 4, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 34:18–The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

TRUTH:
Those who are hurting can find their comfort in the Lord. He promises to be close and to save those who are broken in heart and crushed in spirit. Do we sense Him in the midst of our dark times? Do we allow Him to comfort us?

RESPONSE:
Lord, You walk through my hard times with me. Hold me and guide me. Be near and save me.
