Devotional – June 3, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 3:2-3–Many are saying of my soul, “There is no deliverance for him in God.” Selah. But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.

TRUTH:
People and going to try and tell us that God won’t be there, that He will fail and disappoint us. However, the Lord is the One who shields us, gives us glory, and lifts up our head. Will we listen to others or follow the truth of who God is?

RESPONSE:
Lord, so many people have tried to pull me away from trusting You. Keep me steadfast and help me to live in the truth of who You are and what You do for me.
