Devotional – June 5, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 5:3–In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; in the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.

TRUTH:
Can the Lord expect to hear our voice every morning? Or do we just come to Him when we have a problem? Then when we pray to Him, are we eagerly watching for His response or just try to go answer our own prayers? God wants to be in a relationship with us, not just a recipient of our information. We must trust Him and come to Him consistently and expectantly.

RESPONSE:
Lord, I love to bring my prayers to You. Help me to wait and watch for You, not try to answer my own prayers.
