Christian Devotional – November 29, 2010

VERSE:
Genesis 4:7–If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well sin is crouching at the door; and it’s desire is for you, but you must master it.

TRUTH:
Disappointment and down circumstances make us vulnerable to sin. When we experience tough times, do we go to God for encouragement, or do we allow jealousy or anger or despair in?

RESPONSE:
Lord, help me to focus on You in good times and bad. You are the only one who satisfies, regardless of the circumstance.
