Devotional – October 23, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 93:1–The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The Lord has clothed and girded Himself with strength; indeed the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.

TRUTH:
The Lord is over all. Not only does He have that position, but He has clothed Himself in such a way that position is unmistakable and everything points to it. The qualities mentioned: strength and majesty, they are not just things He has, but things He is. We can never know true strength and majesty apart from God.

RESPONSE:
Lord, You are over all. I praise You for Your amazing character and position. Help me to rely on You in all areas today and display You majesty and strength to everyone.
