Psalm and Praise, Day 104 Rejoice. Read Psalm chapter 104. Any time we look at creation, we should be praising the Lord. Everything he has made is truly so wonderful. Some days are more challenging in our lives and it can be difficult to find things to praise God for, but we can always look around us and see what God has created and recognize that he is worthy of praise. Life may be difficult and circumstances may be challenging but God’s love and creation is always worthy of every bit of our praise.

Psalm and Praise, Day 103 Over all. Read Psalm chapter 103. Make no mistake about it, no matter what terrible things are going on in the world we can know that God is ruler over all. There may be a world full of evil leaders and heartless cruel people, but God is truly over all. Sin may seem to be around everything, but God is truly over all. Are we confident in waiting for God’s movement in our lives? Do we acknowledge his authority over every area of our lives? How can we continue to praise him more every day?

Psalm and Praise, Day 101 What do we give approval to? Read Psalm chapter 101. As we read through this psalm, it becomes very obvious that it’s easier to just look away and ignore the difficult and sinful things in this world than it is to actually stand up against them. Are we willing to stand up and say, “No that’s not right and I won’t have any part of it,” to those things that are wrong? When we take a look at these situations we must continue to stand firm and we must recognize that we can’t give approval to those things that are against God.

Psalm and Praise, Day 100 He is good, he is love, and he is faithful. Read Psalm chapter 100. Reading through this short chapter of praise to God we see that God is good, he is love, and he is faithful. No matter what we have that we are going through, we can always rest in the assurance that God is good. Every good thing given comes from him and everything that comes from him is good. As we read through the psalm and see the praise that is goven to God, we certainly understand that he is worthy. He is able to be praised. But, when we praise God, we are forced to acknowledge our failures and shortcomings. God is perfect and holt. We are not. Only as we compare ourselves side by side do we truly recognize the failings. Psalm and Praise, Day 98 Joy and judgment. Read Psalm chapter 98. Most of the time, but would never put together the words joy and judgement. It’s hard to be joyful in the midst of the judgement. And should we really be joyful about when others go through judgement? But, we can be joyful that our God is a holy God and he is just. He will judge people and hold them all to the standard that he, himself has set. Will we be joyful in the holiness of God and in him demonstrating his holiness through his judgment?

Psalm and Praise, Day 97 The world rejoices. Read Psalm chapter 97. As we read through this chapter, we see all of the amazing creation that God has made, and how it blesses and rejoices in him. We have to understand that God’s creation longs to show its gratitude to its Maker. We can learn from that and we can take inspiration from how the world glorifies God. We are God’s creation as well and we are to be glorifying our Maker in everything we do. Are we seeking to shine and bring light to all that God has done in our lives and for us every day?

Psalm and Praise, Day 96 The Lord reigns. Read Psalm chapter 96. As we read this Psalm of praise and glory to God, we see just how worthy he is of our praise and honor. He is truly amazing and he is worthy of judging everything in the world. Will we acknowledge him and the position that he holds? Well we praise him in the midst of every circumstance?

Psalm and Praise, Day 95 We are to bow down to God. Read Psalm chapter 95. As we read this psalm, it’s full of such praise and glory to God. We see all that God has done and all the reasons why he is worthy of our worship and our honor. Are we truly recognizing God for who he is? He is our Maker. He is our creator. He is the one who put everything into place. He is over all things and because of Jesus Christ, we can have a relationship with him. Are we seeking and glorifying our Lord today?
