Read Ecclesiastes chapter 7 VERSE: Ecclesiastes 7:20–Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins. TRUTH: No matter how good we try to be, we are not righteous on our own. Our own works can never measure up to the standard of perfection that God has set. VERSE: Numbers 19:22–Anything that an unclean person touches becomes unclean, and anyone who touches it becomes unclean till evening. TRUTH: The idea of being clean and unclean is not one that we talk about much in today’s culture. However, God is holy and pure. Therefore, the only options are to be either completely pure and holy like God, or else unclean. VERSE: Exodus 38:8–They made the bronze basin and its bronze stand from the mirrors of the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting. TRUTH: The basin that they created to be able to wash was created out of bronze and mirrors. The people had to look at their own reflection as they were washing and preparing to enter.
