Who is God? Day 8 God is comforter. Read Nahum 3:7-10. Outside of God, we cannot experience true comfort for the painful experiences of life. The people of Nineveh were experiencing the judgment of God. They were going to go through difficult, hard, challenging, and overwhelming things. All of these judgments were being brought about by God but the people were not repentant for their actions. So they were not being comforted by God.
