Paul finishes by discussing the reminder of how amazing it is that two people can become one and the mystery of that relationship and likens it to how amazing it is that Christ would be in a relationship with the church. The fact that we can be with Him, together. Read Ephesians 5:31-33.

for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife , and the two shall become one flesh . This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.

Do we recognize how amazing it is to be in a relationship with the Creator of the universe? God has truly made it a mystery that we cannot understand. God love us and, just like with spouses, made a way for us to come together. God desires us in a relationship with Him. Are we?
