Devotional – December 8, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 135:13–Your name, O Lord, is everlasting; Your remembrance, O Lord, throughout all generations.

TRUTH:
The Lord and His name are permanent and steadfast. They do not change with time. They are not influenced by the happenings of the world. God is God. He is over all things. He lasts throughout all generations. Sharing our knowledge of the Lord and who He is with the next generation is of vital importance. God is the same for future generations as He is for us, like He was for our ancestors.

RESPONSE:
Lord, You are forever and everlasting. You are the same generation to generation. I will share who You are with all people.
