Why I Believe in Christ, Day 11

Who can know or understand the mind of Christ? Read Romans chapter 11.

Paul spends much of this chapter explaining how people can become part of the family of God. He wants people to understand that they can be grafted into the family, just the same is a plant can be grafted into another plant. When people make a decision to accept Jesus Christ as their savior they become part of the family of God. While Paul says this is possible, he does not explain exactly how this happens. He indicates that process is part of the mystery and amazement of God.

We cannot truly understand exactly what God does, how he does it, or why? God is truly amazing, and his ways are beyond our comprehension. Do we trust in the Lord and truly understand that he is so much more than we are? We can praise him and glorify him, and he is worthy of all of those praises, but that does not mean that we can truly understand how he does what he does. Are we content in knowing that God is who he is, even if we don’t know exactly how he does it?
