Read Micah chapter 2 VERSE: Micah 2:13–“The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their king will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.” TRUTH: The prophet here is telling of the coming Messiah who will lead the way to deliverance for the people. VERSE: 1 Timothy 2:1-2–I urge you, then, first of all that petitions and prayers, intercession and thanksgiving, be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may lead peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. TRUTH: Whether we agree with their decisions or their positions on things, we are to pray for those in authority. We are to pray for our political leaders and those at our workplace as well as leaders in our churches, families, etc. Do we lift up these people in prayer regularly?
