Jesus shows up in our lives and does something amazing and miraculous and some people believe and worship God while others doubt. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among you!” TRUTH: This chapter discusses how to have an orderly worship service. Why is Paul so concerned about what happens in an individual worship service? Paul knows the entire service should be focused on praising God and helping others to praise God. This means that believers will be able to worship and praise God and unbelievers will be drawn to worship and praise God. VERSE: 2 Chronicles 11:16–Those from every tribe of Israel who set their hearts on seeking the Lord, the God of Israel, followed the Levites to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices to the Lord, the God of their ancestors. TRUTH: The country split and those in the north started to worship other idols, so the people in that area who believed and worshipped God chose to move south and join the southern kingdom of Judah.
