ADHD Gospel, Day 12

Family. Read Mark 3:31-35.

Who is your family? That can be a difficult question for some people. Others know exactly the answer. Sometimes family are the people that we enjoy and love, and other times family is not a source of encouragement or joy.

While he was speaking, his mother and brothers showed up. They were trying to stop him from doing what he was doing. As a result, Jesus makes a statement that his family are those who do the will of God.

Sometimes we have amazing family that helps and encourages us in our walk with God, and other times our families are not following God the way that we want to be. We can always find family among those who are believers in Christ. This is why we refer to churches often as the family of God.

Are we treating other believers like genuine family? Do we focus on that relationship with a local body of Christ so that we can experience the family of God?
