ADHD Gospel, Day 20

Searching. Read Mark 5:30-34.
The woman did not want to be found. She wanted to remain in secret, and for no one else to know what she had done. She knew God could heal her, and she was confident in that. But she also knew she was an outcast and she didn’t want anybody else to know she was there because she really shouldn’t have been there in the first place.
Still, Jesus spent time searching for her. She didn’t come forward immediately. She tried to make it so that it wasn’t a thing, but Jesus continued to look for her until she finally was willing to identify herself. We may try to hide from Jesus, but Jesus knows us. Jesus knows everything about us. He knows the shame that we have. He knows the frustration that we go through, and he still is constantly continuously seeking after us. He’s searching for us.
He wants us to raise our hand and look to him and come to him with everything that we are. He doesn’t care the condition that we’re in. He doesn’t care what we’ve done or not done. Jesus loves us and he wants to create a right relationship with us. If we will come to him.
