Christian Devotional – January 15, 2015

Read Psalm chapter 15

VERSE:

Psalm 15:1–Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?

TRUTH:

The answer to this question is that no one is worthy to do these things. None of us live up to the qualification that are listed in the next few verses. No one except Jesus. He is the only One whose life lines up perfectly and who is able to dwell with God. This is the reason we are able to come to God through Jesus Christ. Since He fulfilled the criteria, and He offers s life through Him, we can surrender our life to Him and live in Him. Through Him, we can dwell with God.

RESPONSE:

Father, You sent Jesus Christ to live the perfect life that we couldn’t. Thank You for exchanging Your life for mine and for making it possible for me to come to You. I will gladly live for You as You live through me.
