Christian Devotional – June 28, 2015

Read Mark chapter 8

VERSE:

Mark 8:29–“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.”

TRUTH:

At the end of the day, no matter what all has gone on, Jesus asks each of us this question. We each must decide who Jesus is to us. We can listen to what others say; talk about possibilities; even read great books about Jesus. But, we each must come to the place where we make a decision for ourselves about who Jesus is. Jesus is the Christ, the Savior promised, the Hold Son of God and through Him, we can be made right with God!

RESPONSE:

Father, I will confess who You are and seek to help those who believe in You to take a stand. I have answered this question for myself; help me to encourage others to answer it as well.
