The Coming King, Day 20

We are not entitled to peace. Read Psalm 29:11.

So often we feel that we are owed a peaceful life or that for some reason we are entitled to have peace as a result of what we have done. The truth is that we are not entitled to peace. Peace is a blessing from God. We do not earn or deserve it. God chooses to allow us to experience it as a blessing.

When we look at our life, we know that the peace that we have is a direct result of what God is allowing us to experience. Are we following Christ? Are we seeking Him? God gives us his peace as a blessing.
