VERSE: John 3:15–that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him. TRUTH: Everyone. Not just those who come from the right families, or who do the right things. Not those who have lots of money or who go to church every Sunday. Everyone who believes may have eternal life in him. The belief in Jesus Christ is the deciding factor whether we experience the eternal life Jesus Christ promises. Do we believe? Do we share with others so they may believe? TRUTH: What must that have felt like, to be the creator of the entire world and yet when coming, Jesus was not known or recognized. Do we see and recognize God’s handiwork in our lives? VERSE: Leviticus 27:34–These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the sons of Israel at Mount Sinai. TRUTH: As this book concludes, the Lord summarizes this whole book into this one statement. These are the commandments which God gave the people. God does require things from us. He has standards and requirements for all people. Are we on the lookout for opportunities to be obedient to Him? RESPONSE: Lord, You do have expectations for how we are to be obedient to You. VERSE: Leviticus 26:12–I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people. TRUTH: God desires a relationship with us. He doesn’t want to be considered a distant God. He wants to be close and personal. If we are being obedient to Him, He promises to walk with us and be with us throughout everything that we do. VERSE: Leviticus 25:17–So you shall not wrong one another, but you shall fear your God; for I am the Lord your God. TRUTH: While all of the laws God put into place for the people were to keep them from sinning against God, some of them were also to keep them from wronging other people, too. VERSE: Leviticus 24:22–There shall be one standard for you; it shall be for the stranger as well as the native, for I am the Lord your God. TRUTH: One standard, one set of rules. The Lord wants the people to know that they will be held to the same standard regardless of who they are or where they are from. Are we keeping ourselves in line with that one standard? RESPONSE: Lord, You have a one standard and one measure for all people. Forgive me for when I have tried to separate people into levels or classes. You love all people and expect the same from all of them.

VERSE: Leviticus 23:43–so that your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths, I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God. TRUTH: We are responsible to share with our children and those in the next generation the faithfulness of the Lord. If we do not share, they will not know and not hear about all that God has done.
