ADHD Gospel, Day 42

No one is good. Read Mark 10:17-21.

So many times we have heard statements about, “Oh, he’s such a good person.” or “We really appreciate how nice that person is”? Yet we read scripture and we see the words of Jesus here. We have to understand that people were calling him good and then he was reminding people that the only reason he was good is because he was God.

Only God is good. Only God is the one who is able to carry that title. We spend time doing things and trying our very best. And yet, everything we do and the very best that we have is truly nothing compared to God. We are not good. Are we seeking the one who is good in our lives today, and are we allowing him to do good things through us?
