Happy Resurrection Sunday!!

Read Psalm chapter 83

VERSE:

Psalm 83:16–Cover their faces with shame, Lord, so that they will seek your name.

TRUTH:

Why does God allow bad things to happen to people? In some cases, that’s so they will recognize their need for God and will turn to Him. As the psalmist mentions here, he is praying that the people will come to the place where they will recognize their need for God and will seek after Him. Are we praying that God will do whatever it takes to reach the people that we are around?

RESPONSE:

Father, I know so many people that need You and while I certainly want good things for them, first and foremost, I want them to know You. Do whatever You need to do to get their attention so they will be open and will turn to You. I pray that people will seek You.
