Leading Through Challenging Circumstances, Day 63

The end. Read Daniel 11:36-45.
Everything comes to an end. Well, almost everything. As we finish this chapter of prophecy in Daniel, we see the end of the rebellious and evil king. This second half of prophecy from this chapter has not been fulfilled yet, and most scholars agree that this refers to the end of time prophecies that would accompany the booknof Revelation.
There will be an evil king that will be in control that will only last for a time. Then he will come to an end. There’s only one that does not have end and that is God himself. We can be excited to follow God in every way because no matter what end we see for everything else around us, God never will end. We can rest confidently knowing that in him and through him, we have eternal life.
Because we can live in him, we don’t have to be bothered worried or distressed by the evil that is in the world. We know that God overcomes evil and ultimately outlasts evil. Are we staying focused on the one without end today?
