Christian Devotional – August 13, 2012

VERSE:
Isaiah 52:6–“Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore in that day I am the one who is speaking, ‘Here I am.'”

TRUTH:
In the day of restoration, the Lord will reveal Himself to His people. Those who don’t know Him will be blaspheming against Him, but God’s people will know His name and recognize God when He speaks. Do we hear God when He speaks to us? As His children, He wants to reveal Himself to us even now.

RESPONSE:
Lord, Your Name is worthy of praise and honor. You are over all things and help me to be listening for You and recognize Your voice today.
