VERSE:
Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold the Lord’s hand is not too short that it cannot save; nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.
TRUTH:
These verses so accurately convey our dilema. God is able to save us, but we are the one who has put a barrier between us and God. He desires to see us reconciled to Him so He made a way to bridge that separation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The Lord is over all things and His perfection made the way for us to come before God if we accept the gift of His Son Jesus Christ.
RESPONSE:
Lord, without Jesus, I am in such a mess. You are separated from me because of my sin, yet You made a way to restore my fellowship with You. I will praise You and share Your sacrifice with all so that they might be made right with You as I have been through the blood of Jesus Christ.
