ADHD Gospel, Day 7

Bad people. Read Mark 2:13-17.

Most parents tell their children to find good friends and to seek out the people who will be good, positive influences on their lives. That is great advice for us. However, Jesus was perfect. He was never going to find anyone who was better than he was.

So why did Jesus come to Earth? He came to seek out the people who needed him. He was looking for those who understood that they were lost. He did not come to surround himself with the good people of the day, but with the people who understood that they needed a Savior. Now, everyone needs Jesus. But, not everyone realizes they need Jesus. Jesus is there and ready and available for anyone and everyone who calls on him. He is actively seeking out those people who are looking for him.

We in need of a Savior, but do we know that we need a Savior? Are we actively seeking Jesus just like he’s actively seeking us? How can we spend more time seeking the lost to bring them to Jesus?
