Christian Devotional – August 26, 2012

VERSE:
Isaiah 65:18–But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem for rejoicing and her people for gladness.

TRUTH:
God creates with a purpose. He desires that we rejoice in His creation and be glad. He knows that His creation is for rejoicing and that one day we will rejoice forever in all that God has created as we rejoice and praise Him.

RESPONSE:
Lord, Your creation is magnificent. You give such a wonder of excitement in all that You create. I praise You for making me with the purpose to rejoice.
