Leading Through Challenging Circumstances, Day 59

The response. Read Daniel 10:10-14.
We all want God to respond immediately. We prefer the prayers where we pray, and then 3 seconds later we have our positive response. Even though it doesn’t always work that way, we must understand that God does respond to us, often in ways that we are not expecting.
Daniel was not expecting this Messenger to provide a response to a prayer that he had prayed, however, here he stood giving a response. We can confidently know that God hears our prayers. We can be equally confident in knowing that God responds to our prayers. The way he responds and the timing of his response may not be what we expect, but we can know that it happens.
For Daniel’s prayer, here we see God send a Messenger with the response, and even though that Messenger had been delayed, God’s timing is still perfect in every way. Daniel was going to know and understand what he needed to know at exactly the moment he needed to know it.
When we pray, do we expect a response? Are we confident that God is going to move forward in the areas that we are expecting him to, knowing that his response is always timely and always right? We can rest assured that God will respond today.
