Why do we share? Why should we share? Read Colossians chapter 1.

Paul opens this book with a Thanksgiving prayer for the people, and he goes into an explanation of the power and awesomeness of God along with why he preaches the gospel. Do we know why we preach the gospel? And do we recognize the supremacy and power of Almighty God? Do we understand how those two go together?

You see, if we don’t truly understand the power and awesomeness of Christ, we will never understand why we should share the message with others. It is because of the amazing wisdom and power of Christ that we have the ability to share and the desire to share.

Are we leaning into the strength of God and our understanding of who God is to give us the motivation to do what God has to do today and everyday?
