Christian Devotional – December 20, 2016

Read Job chapter 34

VERSE:

Job 34:12–It is unthinkable that God would do wrong, that the Almighty would pervert justice.

TRUTH:

God is God. He is Holy and He is righteous. When we think of the very definition of justice, that is God. God can’t act contrary to who He is. That is why it is unthinkable that God would sin. That is simply contrary to who He is. God is just and he will call all people to His justice. Everything will be made right at the precise moment in time when God chooses. In the meantime, we can trust in the character of God and know that He will always act in accordance with who He is.

RESPONSE:

Father, I praise You for who You are. You are holy and righteous and I know that You always have the best in mind for me.
