Christian Devotional – January 12, 2013

VERSE:
John 2:25–and because He did not need anyone to testify concerning man, for He Himself knew what was in man.

TRUTH:
Jesus didn’t need someone to sit down and try to explain to Him about people and their thoughts and motivations. He already knew. God knows us better than we know ourselves. He is aware of our needs and wants, hopes and fears. We don’t have to wonder or worry about Jesus understanding us. We can come to Him with anything because He already knows us.

RESPONSE:
Father, I love that I don’t have to hide from You or try to impress You. You see me as I am and love me. I pray You will examine my heart and remove anything that does not reflect You. I love You!
