The Essential Jesus, Day 2

Humility. Today as we look at the second day of The Essential Jesus reading plan on YouVersion.com, we are reading through Philippians 2:1-11.

We see so many characteristics of Jesus in these verses. We learn so many things about the Lord and how we can relate to him. One important characteristic is humility. Christ, of all people had every reason to boast and brag about all that he has done. He is God. Yet, he chose humility.

What does humility look like for us? How can we serve others? Spend time today and make plans on a way you can humbly serve someone today.
