Read Psalm chapter 27

VERSE:

Psalm 27:14–Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

TRUTH:

Waiting is not for wimps! Waiting takes courage and strength. Think about it, it often takes more strength of will and discipline to NOT act, than it does to take some frivolous actions. When we are faced with difficult situations, sometimes, God tells us to wait. In those times, we must depend on Him and trust Him in order to truly learn and grow stronger in our walk with Him and in our faith. Are we strong enough to wait?

RESPONSE:

Father, waiting is hard! I don’t like to wait, but I know that You are teaching me all the time to wait on You and to be patient in seeing Your work and Your will. I will be strong. I will take heart and courage in You. I will wait!
