The Message – #58

How do we find a renewal and refreshment? The Lord is those things for us. He is continually with us. Read Isaiah chapter 58 and today we will focus on verse 11.

“And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

Not only does God guide us, which he does promise to do, but he also is our source of refreshment and encouragement. God is the one who can give us strength and restore us and everything else that we try to use to do that will fall short.

Are we turning to God and allowing him to refresh us daily? Do we seek after the refreshment that he brings? If we feel down and discouraged and disappointed, turn to God and allow him to provide us with the encouragement and refreshment that only he can give.
