Christian Devotional – June 13, 2014

Read 1 John chapter 2

VERSE:

1 John 2:22-23–Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist, denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

TRUTH:

What is our relationship with Jesus Christ? Ultimately, everything comes down to that. If we deny that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, then we are a liar and we are against God. We cannot claim to have God or be a part of God and yet deny the place and position of Jesus. Only through our relationship with Jesus Christ do we have a real relationship with God. We cannot have it any other way.

RESPONSE:

Father, I acknowledge and accept Your position and I believe and receive Jesus Christ as the Lord of all, including my entire life. I pray that others will see that through my life as I acknowledge You.
