Christian Devotional – June 22, 2012

VERSE:
Matthew 28:18–And Jesus came up and spoke to them saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.”

TRUTH:
Why do we follow Jesus? Jesus has been given total and complete authority over everything. He is over all and has the power to rule it all. The Lord has all authority and we can do all that He has for us because He has the authority.

RESPONSE:
Lord, I pray You will remine me of Your authority and power today. I want to live my life in the knowledge that You are over all things and have power over all.

EXTRA:
Today we’ve finished up Matthew. Tomorrow we’re going to head back over to the Old Testament and go through the book of Isaiah. I look forward to having you join us!
