Christian Devotional – June 5, 2013

VERSE:

Acts 4:12–Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

TRUTH:

Salvation is found in the name of Jesus Christ. He alone was raised from the dead, the perfect sacrifice for our sins. People try so many different things to give them a sense of security and belonging, but nothing will fulfill us like knowing and being a part of God’s plan of salvation for our life. No other name holds the power of the name of Jesus. Do we give His name the reverence and respect it deserves?

REPONSE:

Father, I praise You and lift You up. You have given Jesus the highest name and it is over all. You grant salvation to me and to everyone else who believes in His name. I will praise You and will give Your name the reverence and respect it deserves.
