Read Psalm chapter 63

VERSE:

Psalm 63:1–You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you in a dry parched land where there is no water.

TRUTH:

David was in the desert when he wrote this, so he fully understood being thirsty. He declares that his whole body longs for God. Do we recognize our desperate need for God in every area of our life? He is able to satisfy all our needs, from the most basic to the most complex.

RESPONSE:

Father, You are my God and my provider. I thirst after You in all things. Keep me focused on You and desiring nothing but You.
