Read Deuteronomy chapter 2

VERSE:

Deuteronomy 2:25–This very day I will begin to put the terror and fear of you on all the nations under heaven. They will hear reports of you and will tremble and be in anguish because of you.

TRUTH:

The children of Israel were obeying and following God, so God explained an interesting idea to them. God was in control of their reputation. As long as they were following and obeying Him, He would be the one to direct how others perceived them. We don’t have to concern ourselves with what others think or speak about us, we just focus on God and He will take care of the rest.

RESPONSE:

Father, You love me and care for me. I will trust in You and follow You. I will not concern myself with what others think, but only with what You think. You are in control of my reputation and I will focus only on following You.
