The Essential Jesus, Day 85

No resurrection, no salvation. As we read day 85 of the Essential Jesus reading plan, we are reminded that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is why we are able to do anything that we can do. Read 1 Corinthians 15.

When we think about Jesus, people are oftwn drawn to talk about his death on the cross. That was certainly important for that was when he took our sins in our place, but the reason that is so powerful is because he was raised from the dead. If Christ had not been raised victorious then we would have no hope.

How do we celebrate and recognize the Resurrection of Jesus? We are coming up on Easter when we celebrate that specifically, but we need to recognize and celebrate that every day.
